Chennai-based taxi hailing mobile application UTOO on Tuesday rolled out its services in Hyderabad while announcing its plan to expand into seven more cities over the next six months.
With Uber and Ola already competing fiercely in the taxi aggregator industry, the company claims that its innovative and ‘inclusive policies’ will help gain a rapid market share.
“Our Loyalty programmes for our customers and our housing scheme for our driver, who actually are our last mile partners, will help us create loyalty for our brand,” CEO, KVP Baskaran said.
He went on to add, “Drivers will have a fixed salary so they don’t need to overwork. If the drivers fail to cross the Rs 500 mark per day after our 35% commission, we will pay it from our own pockets. Moreover, the driver can earn more through incentives if he crosses the minimum limit.”
