Construction major L&T today announced the Hyderabad Metro Rail Project is on track and efforts are on to complete the project soon and commission couple of sections now ready.
The project, which seeks to develop a 72 km elevated metro rail across three dense corridors in Hyderabad has thus far achieved overall progress of 75 per cent.
The CMRS inspection has been completed for Stage 1 and Stage 2 with trial runs progressing.
Giving a project update, L&T said thus far viaduct foundations for 61.20 km, Piers in 58.10 km, span erection in 49 km and track work in 36.25 km, 17 stations have been completed in Stage 1 and 2 along with 3 Interchange Stations. Work on other 30 Stations is in progress.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday directed that the Hyderabad Metro rail project works be completed as early as possible.
