Technology start-up incubator T-Hub and leading pharma firm Novartis Healthcare Pvt Ltd Ltd have signed an MoU for creating and executing joint programmes for health tech start-ups from across segments.
In collaboration with the incubator, Novartis will develop plans and programmes that will help health tech, healthcare and pharmaceutical start-ups to scale and grow. Health and research and development experts from Novartis will mentor and guide startups in compliance with T-Hub’s mentorship framework and evaluation process, in their respective ventures, a release on Thursday said. The MoU, to help foster a close relationship in these areas, will contribute to building of a thriving ecosystem in Hyderabad. The Swiss pharma giant Novartis has a significant footprint in India with a strong base in Hyderabad through its Global Drug Development and Business Services Center, the release said.
T-Hub CEO Jay Krishnan said the MoU with Novartis will bring great value to the ecosystem and benefit health tech startups greatly.
