Prof. Kodandaram TJAC chairman was the one behind many agitations before Telangana formation. He assured, people will be happy once Telangana is formed and indirectly supported  KCRs false promises. Now, it is his responsibility to bring down TRS and make sure the promises made during agitation are implemented.

He seems to be in that process-

Disputing with the claim of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who during his recent visit to New Delhi announced that Telangana is in the first place in terms of development among all states across the country, Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman M Kodandaram has wanted to know if the claims of the CM are really true, then how come majority sections of people in the state are still facing problems on various counts.

Sharpening his attack, the TJAC chairman said as many as 113 farmers had committed suicide in Gajwel Assembly segment itself, which is represented by none other then the chief minister, in the past three years, because of the disastrous policies of the State government.
While undertaking third phase of Telangana Martyrs’ Inspiration Yatra (Amarula Sphoorti Yatra) in Gajwel Constituency on Sunday, Kodandaram ridiculed Rao’s assertion that the TS is ahead of all other States in terms of development.

Alleging that the government is making all possible efforts to gag the voice of people’s organisations, which are critical of its policies, the TJAC chairman said, “Government is not for accumulating the assets of ruling party leaders. It is there to address the problems being faced by people. Why is this government not filling 2 lakh vacant posts in various departments?”

Earlier, the former professor began his Yatra from Hyderabad by hoisting a Telangana flag at Martyrs Memorial located at Gun Park here by recalling the services of those, who died in the statehood struggle. Most parts of his yatra the TJAC chairman preferred to proceed by riding a bike. Police imposed several restrictions on the movements of Kodandaram, during Yatra. He was not allowed to visit villages on  his way to Gajwel. Barricades were set up at the entrances of all villages, which are likely to be submerged under Konda Pochamma Reservoir and Mallanna Sagar Project, in order to deny entry to the TJAC chairman and other leaders.“We made arrangements to have our lunch at Jagadevpur. But, we were not allowed by police to do so,” Kodandaram fumed.
