Old news but media didn’t bother to expose the news. Hyderabad Cricket Association ombudsman Justice (Retd) L. Narasimha Reddy has disqualified the HCA president Dr. G. Vivekanand and the suspended HCA Secretary T. Seshnarayan from holding any post. HCA is popular for corruption and they don’t pay the Municipal taxes and this leads to the Warning to seize the Stadium by Municipal Authorities just before any International or IPL match is scheduled to happen as a threatening option.
It maybe recalled here that Mr. Seshnarayan was suspended by the HCA Apex Council recently for alleged acts of indiscipline. Being charge sheeted in a corrupton case, he cannot hold any post.
In case of Dr. Vivekanand, it was pointed out that since he is the adviser to the Telangana State Government, he is not eligible on the grounds of conflict of interest.
Both disqualified members have moved to Hyderabad High Court challenging the order of the Ombudsman of the BCCI in disqualifying them from holding respective posts in the HCA. Court has give stay as per Vivek’s Facebook response to the issue.
