Keeping in mind the recent Miyapur scam and Suryapet scams, the Telangana government is guarded against taking an early call on the location for All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) which the Center approved recently, apprehending the entry of real estate sharks and spiking prices of lands in the area.

Sources said the Revenue Department has already been asked to identify probable sites of over 200 acres for the prestigious institution, but the final decision will be kept in limbo till the detailed project report is vetted by the Central government and receives the approval of the Chief Minister. The entire process of identification of lands was purported to be kept a closely guarded secret to avoid real estate developers cheating gullible public.
